We need you help in funding this project

Bonneville, the very name conjures up amazing images of shimmering mirages, endless space and limitless speed, and I have always been fascinated by it, but it was only after watching a movie, “The Worlds Fastest Indian” the story of Burt Munro, did the absolute fascination begin, I then read the book “One Good Run” and without ever having set foot in Bonneville, I was starting to feel the effects of Salt Fever. Nicci my partner and I sat down and formulated a plan about how to make it happen with the knowledge and resources we had.

We build "One Good Run" our salt lakes racer a Suzuki GN400,build in homage to Burt and all the speedsters at Bonneville, completed in September 2014 and tested at Kalahari Speedweek in 2014. We now want to get it to Bonneville for Speedweek 2015, and see what we can achieve, but without help, this dream cannot be achieved. It is financially very difficult for us to fund the trip, and every little contribution will help get us there, you can play a big part in getting us there.  The first woman from South Africa to race at Bonneville!

We have put together a few exciting options for our sponsors, which can be found in the perks section, and I hope you will take some time to look at them and choose the one that suits you best.

We are trying to raise $20 000 this is broken down into transport and living expenses. We will fly into Houston where our SLR will be shipped to Metric Motorcycles, owned and run by master mechanic Andy Marcer, we will meet there, spend a few days tuning the bike on the Dyno. Once done we will load the bike and travel via RV to Bonneville and spend the week there.

Flights to and from Houston for Nicci and Myself -  $3000RV hire - $2500Crating and shipping of the Bike to and from Houston -  $ 9500Membership Fees - $180Visas - $250Fuel and travel expenses - $ 5570

We know it's not saving the world or anything like that, but how awesome would it be for not only the first rider, but the first female rider from South Africa to put up an amazing speed at the mecca for speedsters from all over the world! So hit that share button, get the word out and help me be the first woman from South Africa to race at Bonneville!
